Dinner with Su

今天晚上我跟susu 去了吃潮州菜, susu 是我在sapporo 認識的一個好朋友,

在sapporo 的時候, 因為大家都窮, 所以我們都會一起share+做晚餐.

那個時候簡直說過無數次香港的美食, 每次說起都超想立刻回香港吃.

今天我們終於約出來吃一些日本沒得吃的東西了.



看到su 的時候, 我想起有一天在sapporo 我們正on the way to the supermarket, 然後她突然說好想家, 說到差不多要哭, 我也不知要怎樣安慰她. 時間過得真快, 現在我們都在hk見面了. 雖然那個時候過得都soso, 不過現在想起也蠻懷念的.

well, tonight I invited my parents to go to church 報道會tmr, but they rejected (not a surprise) But I can tell they are not so negative to that, comparing to before. very good. I asked my mum just to go and see what they say, and she replied she doesn't feel like about christian, so she doesn't want to enter their place. She doesn't like people not 燒香to dead people. She said she is a very traditional woman, she doesn't insist to say no to Christian, but she feels it is 不孝 for not 燒香. welllll, I hope one day their mind will get changed and be saved!

by the way, I am so thankful for getting a job. I was not super happy of getting an offer, but then, I think getting involoved in something compulsory is good for me, so i won't be 在家胡思亂想

An interesting movie on an interesting man

British actor Christopher Lee portrays Muhammad Ali Jinnah-founder of Pakistan in a stunning 1998 movie Jinnah that tragically for political reasons was never released except for a short time in Pakistan. Worse still, the DVD for this movie was only released in Brittain seven years ago, so its really hard to find (its not even on PPS !) Luckily the entire movie can be found on youtube but the quality is somewhat lacking. Jinnah spectacularly tells the story of a great man who has sadly been forgotten by most of the world though his friends and enemies including Gandhi （甘地） and Nehru(尼赫鲁) are still well known to this day.
I found this film while doing research for my HIstory of India after Gandhi class, while I think that some of the things in this movie may be exagerated, and are a little difficult to understand without background knowledge, watching the move 《Gandhi》 first really gave me a better picture of everything that was going on。 Another confusing part of this movie is that part of it happens in the afterlife and another part is memories, so its a combination science fiction/ history movie.
